GRITS = Gore Rural Information Technology Schools.

This page is the beginning, the place where it all begins.
As 12 schools we are linked together in our exploration of ICT and the educational benefits it can offer. All of our schools range from Sole Charge (1 teacher) through to U3 (five to eight classrooms). All of these schools are in Eastern Southland or West Otago
From 2008 the lead school has been Tapanui, Director is Anne Gover and the facilitator is Kim Scott.
